With Easter around the corner, egg-y recipes and crafts are popping up left and right. This got us thinking about hard boiled eggs, one of our favorite ways to eat eggs. Irish Soda Bread
Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day… and what could be a simpler bread recipe than Irish Soda Bread? This recipe has only 5 ingredients and no rising time. From start to a lovely loaf takes only one hour! Ingredients 4 cups flour 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1 1/2 cups milk 2 tablespoons lemon juice Directions Preheat oven to 375°. Strawberry Chocolate Heart Muffins
Abbie says: “These are simple to make and extreeeemely delicious. They didn’t turn into hearts very well, but other than that everything seemed to go pretty smoothly.” Mrs. Brown says: “When Abbie saw a picture of someone using a marble to make heart shaped cupcakes she knew we had to try it. So we took a strawberry muffin recipe, adapted it a bit, and popped marbles in the muffin tin. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, hanging out with the grandparents, enjoying family time and lots of delicious home made food!
