Peaches are in season at the height of the summer, so now is the ideal time to stock up while they are on sale.   After sharing the Kale and Blackberry Salad in May, a friend of a friend made a version that included raspberries. Those pretty red berries got me to thinking… how could I make a red, white and blue salad? So I played around, and just in time for Independence Day, here it is! A marinade is a liquid in which you soak raw meat or vegetables.  Marinades infuse food with flavor, and tenderize meat.
