You can buy boxed cornbread mix, but cornbread from scratch is much better, and it isn&#8217;t hard at all.<\/em><\/p>\n<h1>Homemade Cornbread<\/h1>\n<p>2 eggs<br \/>\n1\/4 cup sugar<br \/>\n1 cup flour<br \/>\n2 teaspoons baking powder<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon baking soda<br \/>\n2\/3 cup cornmeal<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n1 cup plain yogurt<br \/>\n1\/4 cup butter, melted<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Preheat oven to 400\u00b0 F. Beat eggs in a mixing bowl and add sugar. Mix well. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, soda, cornmeal, and salt. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the yogurt to the egg mixture. Stir in cooled, melted butter. Bake in a greased 10-inch cast-iron skillet for 15-25 minutes.
