And birthdays! We decided to go super fancy at Abbie’s most recent birthday and serve tea in fine china and tiny treats on silver platters. Her grandfather even dressed in a tux and pretended to be her butler! We put together this tea cup party favor for her guests. Pretty and practical, it is made from a real tea cup and a pretty flower pen (with chocolate of course… don’t forget chocolate!) We found assorted tea cups and saucers at the thrift shop, so all together each favor cost only about $1.50. These would also make sweet gifts for mothers, grandmothers or teachers. — Mrs. Brown

How to Make a Tea Cup Party Favor

Materials:
tea cup and saucer
flower pen
2’x2′ square of tulle
1′ ribbon
shredded paper
name tag
chocolate!

1. Put enough shredded paper into the cup to fill it 3/4 of the way. Stick the pen into the cup in the center of the paper. If you are giving the pen without a cap, you might want to place a small square of folded tissue paper on the bottom of the cup so that you don’t write on the cup!

2.
