It’s the day before Christmas, and some of you are probably relaxing with family and friends, while others are running around frantically trying to finish last minute projects. We’ll confess we are in the second group… we are always up to our eyeballs in grand plans and new projects that we just have<\/em> to squeeze in!<\/p>\n

Still we are thinking ahead. We know that we will be blessed with gifts tomorrow that the givers will have taken time and careful thought to choose.<\/p>\n

And\u00a0we also know that after all those wonderful gifts are opened, there will be a great big pile of craft supplies – er, wrapping paper – awaiting our brainstorms.<\/p>\n

Abbie loves to acknowledge gift givers’ kindness by writing thank you notes. And what better way to do that than with homemade cards? Let’s recycle that wrapping paper!<\/p>\n

Make Thank You Cards from Recycled Wrapping Paper<\/h1>\n

There are several ways to make cards from wrapping paper. We like to use a simple card stock base.<\/p>\n

You can just completely cover the card stock in wrapping paper, gluing it on, then trimming to size.<\/p>\n

You can also cut out a shape from the paper and glue it onto the plain white cardstock.<\/p>\n

\"Glue<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Place<\/a><\/p>\n

Or merge the ideas, covering the card with plain paper, then adding a cut out on top.<\/p>\n

You can also make thank you cards using cut outs from old Christmas cards (but make sure your parents are ready to dispose of them first!).<\/p>\n

Use your imagination and have fun with it!<\/p>\n
